Oh nostalgia. How we love it. I loved a disposable camera. The ease of it. Point and shoot. Having no idea how the photo came out until it was developed. I wanted to experience that again. So, I had a look to see if such a thing could be replicated in the modern, digital world.
I knew if I bought a disposable camera I’d never get them developed. It had to give me the same shooting experience but, ideally, I could just plug it into my computer and download the photos.
That’s where Campsnap comes in. It’s exactly that. A camera with no digital screen, no way to preview the photo you’ve just taken. Just point and shoot… and hope for the best. I love it.
I recently went on a pilgrimage to Walsingham. A lovely Anglican shrine. Peaceful, prayerful place that you can really feel connected to God and fellow Christians. It was the perfect place to test out my new camera.
Below I’ve added some of my favourite shots. They came out great.
